Apologies Not Accepted: Paula Deen Canned by Food Network

Paula Deen, the Food Network star under fire for admitting to using the N-word in the past, lost her gig today with the cable network. 

Officials tell TMZ they are not renewing her contract, which expires at the end of this month.

The firing came the same day Deen recorded two separate video apologies for her racial comments. Deen recorded the first video but quickly yanked it off YouTube, later posting a second take on her video apology.
