Spike TV is known for catering to a young male audience with hardcore reality shows, wrestling and even swimsuit programming.
The cable channel is shaking up its image with a new scripted series based on the Sept. 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi. It’s the kind of programming most other channels likely wouldn’t touch. After all, it reflects badly on both the Obama administration and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.
That’s not stopping the folks at Spike TV. Maybe they’ve heard about potential whistleblowers who may have new information to share on the tragedy which took the lives of four Americans.
This project lifts the curtain on the untold behind-the-scenes story of the 2012 terrorist attack on the American diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya. Based on declassified documents and testimonials from those who were on the ground, this miniseries will shed light on the actual events surrounding the tragic deaths of four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens, and the heroic actions of CIA operatives that saved dozen of American lives.
