Ashley Judd Plays First Lady in CPAC 'Olympus' Screening

Ashley Judd’s tentative political career may be cut short if Kentucky voters–or her own party–lose faith in her ability to cash in on her fame.

For one night, she’ll be front and center at CPAC playing the First Lady whose White House is under siege from terrorists.

Judd co-stars in Olympus Has Fallen, a thriller featuring Gerald Butler, Morgan Freeman and Aaron Eckhart. Judd plays the First Lady in the big-budget film. The movie is being screened at the conservative political event at 8 p.m.–invitation only.

Judd’s previous films include Someone Like You and A Time to Kill, and in recent weeks she’s met with Democrat party officials about challenging Sen. Mitch McConnell in the 2014 elections.
