Michael Moore is outraged that a news outlet would call his accuracy into question.
The far-left filmmaker rallied to the cause of a Palestinian filmmaker last week after the man claimed he was delayed at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and threatened with deportation.
Buzzfeed questioned Moore’s account of the events, inspiring the Capitalism: A Love Story director to go on the offensive.
The report posted by Buzzfeed cited an anonymous LAX official who said that, after initial questioning, [Emad] Burnat was able to find his ticket and was released shortly thereafter. The official said that the ordeal took “no more than 25 minutes” and charged that Moore was using the situation as a publicity stunt….
Moore fired back with a series of Tweets attacking Buzzfeed and calling its reportage an “outright lie.”
