Bradley Cooper is taking Method Acting to a whole new level.
Cooper, who plays a man battling bipolar disorder in the Oscar-nominated film Silver Linings Playbook, will meet with Vice President Joe Biden today to discuss “the importance of ensuring access to quality treatment for those with mental illness,” according to Politico.
Playbook writer/director David O. Russell, famed in some circles for his battles with celebrities like George Clooney and Lily Tomlin, will also be on hand.
The Obama administration, which routinely opens its doors to celebrities with a cause to push, previously gave the entertainment industry a pass regarding its possible influence on gun violence in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre.
