Roger Ebert: Second Amendment Ratified to Preserve Slavery

We’ve already heard Constitutional scholar Matthew Modine opine on the Second Amendment this week. Now, it’s film critic Roger Ebert’s turn. And the Thumbs Up pioneer offers an even daffier version of U.S history than the “Vision Quest” star.

Ebert links to a post on the subject by Thom Hartmann, the far-left radio show host who once said guns don’t kill people, inequality does.

Good thing fellow Twitter users quickly set Ebert straight.
