CNN talker Piers Morgan may not have many viewers, but he does have one prominent backer for his nightly gun control rants.

Michael Moore, the far-left filmmaker who recently said the tragic shooting in Sandy Hook Elementary School defined us as a nation, wants everyone to back off the beleaguered talk show host.

Leave Piers alone! So sad that the host on American TV to speak out the loudest against this madness is not one of us, but a Brit.

Morgan eagerly lapped up Moore’s praise, once more confirming his far-left bona fides in the process.
