“>According to reports, Coyne told TSA agents the grenade was dead and was given to him as a joke at a party, but the agency followed protocol and closed down the airport.
Coyne was en route to Los Angeles with his wife to catch a preview of the new Flaming Lips musical ‘Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robot'” when he caused numerous missed flights because of the bomb scare, especially because the TSA did not have any of their “bomb guys” on duty.
Coyne then tweeted an apology: “Sorry Sorry Sorry!! Everyone that was inconvenienced by my grenade at OKC airport.”
