The various sound stages, sets and recording studios must be rather quiet these days.
A crush of entertainers, including Sheryl Crow, Danny DeVito, Lady Gaga, Bruce Springsteen and John Legend all stopped what they were doing to offer some last-minute campaign help for the Celebrity in Chief.
We’ll all find out tomorrow whether President Barack Obama has a job come January, but as of now he’s got a bevy of Hollywood heavy hitters on his side.
Here’s just a sample of the star power at his disposal in the runup to Election Day:
- Alec Baldwin recorded a pro-Obama spot for the far-left outfit MoveOn.org
- Bruce Springsteen flew on Air Force One (while his fellow New Jersey residents struggled without power … and more) to perform during Obama’s final campaign stops.
- Neil Diamond worked the phones for Team Obama in L.A.
- Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson, who admitted he voted for Obama because he is black and not for any issues in particular, are reaching out to black radio stations to secure a seemingly solid voting block for the Left.
