Sounds like comic actor John Leguizamo pines for a one political party system.
Leguizamo, best known for providing the voice of Sid in four “Ice Age” movies, recently talked to CNN about his political views.
“Latin people for Republicans are like roaches for raid,” he adds. “It doesn’t make sense. [Republicans are] not for us. You’re not for my values. We’re working class people mostly and blue collar. We’re your cops, we’re your firemen, we’re your carpenters and the things we need – we need to protect our unions, we need to protect our Medicare, we need to protect the working class person.”
Leguizamo is part of the Creative Coalition, an allegedly nonpartisan group “formed for the charitable and educational purposes of bringing together artists and entertainers to learn about pressing issues so they can better inform and influence the community and nation.”
The organization is chock full of far-left performers like Leguizamo, Matthew Modine, Richard Belzer, Adrian Grenier, Richard Schiff and Montel Williams.
