This week’s Democratic National Convention lineup will include speaking roles for actresses Scarlett Johansson (“The Avengers”), Natalie Portman (“Black Swan”) and Kerry Washington (ABC’s “Scandal”).
A source told the news network the trio, all vocal supporters of President Barack Obama, would appear on stage together after a performance by the Foo Fighters.
It’s the latest sign Clint Eastwood’s appearance at the RNC last week left a mark. While Eastwood is a screen icon known for his blue-collar work ethic on set, this trio of actresses bring far less gravitas and star power.
Update: The Huffington Post reports Portman’s rep says she will “NOT” be attending the DNC.
