Twisted Singer lead singer Dee Snider should be delighted anyone is still interested in his band’s body of work.
Some songs simply can’t survive the passage of time. Safe to say tunes like the band’s “We’re Not Gonna Take It” fall squarely into that category – to say nothing of the band’s choice of makeup.
Yet when Snider heard the Paul Ryan campaign was using that very song he reacted like every other intolerant liberal musician did.
“I emphatically denounce Paul Ryan’s use of my band Twisted Sister’s song, ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It,’ in any capacity,” Snider told TPM in a statement relayed by his manager Tuesday. “There is almost nothing he stands for that I agree with except the use of the P90X.”
