First Lady Michelle Obama made the latest celebrity-fueled fundraiser for her husband a family affair last night.
That meant glitzy types like Gwen Stefani could bring their young ones to enjoy a taste of the one-percent lifestyle.
Those kiddies weren’t just there to snack on succulent food and maybe pal around with friends new and old. The First Lady told them she needs their votes, too.
I am not just talking to the adults here today. I am talking to the young people here as well. All of our young people–you might not be old enough to vote. You vote at school, I know–I met several young people who are going to be voting for my husband, who are 10 and under–we accept those votes.”
Those 10-year olds won’t be able to vote for Obama by the time they’re 18, and they’ll have to wait nearly 20 more years before they’re finally responsible for their own health care, should the “Affordable Care Act” not suffer at the hands of a President Mitt Romney.
