Celebrities Use Twitter to Honor Troops on Memorial Day

Celebrities often leverage their Twitter accounts to send political messages or promote their latest project.

This Memorial Day weekend, a quartet of celebrities used Twitter to pay tribute to the men and women of the Armed Forces.

Henry Winkler, forever known as the Fonz on “Happy Days,” is considered one of the more congenial stars in the industry. His latest Tweet does nothing to change that sentiment.

Jon Favreau, the “Swingers” star who stepped behind the camera to bring “Iron Man” to life, isn’t ashamed to call our soldiers heroes like some MSNBC employees.

Comedian Lewis Black not only Tweeted his support for the troops today, he’s given his time to perform for our soldiers.

And “Chuck” star Adam Baldwin, a Big Hollywood contributor, is no stranger to paying respect to the U.S. military.
