You know it’s hard out there for a Manhattan gajillionaire like David Letterman.

When you float above it all in the Top 1%, it’s really very easy to ask about Obama:

What more do we want this man to do for us, honest to God?

After all, why should he care about the 23 million people who can’t find a job in Obama’s “recovery,” when he already as a sweet gig, and it was just made sweeter through 2014 with a brand new multi-million dollar contract.

How’s the good life up there in the ether, Letterman? You got enough to eat? College covered for the kids? Mansion a/c set at a cool, comfortable 68 degrees?

Because that’s all that matters, right? Not record deficits or people’s hardships — the thermostat in your mansion.
