Step aside, Sen. John Kerry. Alec Baldwin is the new king of flip flops.
The actor and co-star of NBC’s low-rated “30 Rock,” has made a spectator sport out of his decision to run for political office. First, he says he will, and then he says he won’t.
This week, he’s leaning toward “yes.” “Let’s see what things are like in 2014 and maybe I can find some opportunity,” he continued without specifying what office he would consider.
You’d think any politician running against Baldwin would have a field day with opposition research alone. After all, Baldwin makes more headlines for Twitter gaffes, airline spectacles and angry outbursts than most political aspirants.
