READER QUESTION: WHERE TO BUY BLU-RAYS
I have a Blu-ray disc question for you. I have a thing about having the disc in my hands, the slip case listing the features, and the ability to watch it whenever I want. I have been buying them from multiple suppliers, both brick & mortar retailers as well as Internet only resources. What has been frustrating is that I have shopped multiple suppliers because I have not been able to find a one-stop shop. I was hoping you might have a recommendation for a single-source vendor for Blu-ray discs that offers the widest possible selection as well as the lowest prices?
Most of my Blu-ray purchases are done either through Amazon.com or those 5 for $20 used deals at Blockbuster. What I like about Amazon is that Amazon Prime members get free second-day shipping and their streaming program, which is a great deal.
Mainly, though, I look for the best deal and will purchase from anywhere that makes sense. And so, with that in mind, let me introduce you to a site that has been my constant companion for over 15 years: http://www.dvdpricesearch.com/

Joss Whedon has sought to make The Avengers unique, and the latest way was shooting a scene for the movie after the movie premiered. According to HitFix, the entire team (from Robert Downey Jr. to Scarlett Johansson) used the opportunity of the occasion to shoot one last scene. Apparently it’s tough getting a dozen notable names in the same room.
Or a brilliant piece of publicity?

I never get tired of “Dumb and Dumber” and “There’s Something About Mary.” Nothing the duo has made since, though, would I bother to watch again.
As far as their latest, “The Three Stooges,” I probably won’t even bother.
