There’s only one comedian to call if your sitcom needs an actor who can play someone described as “surgical with his cut downs.”
Dennis Miller just re-upped his contract for his nationally syndicated radio show, but soon he’ll be moonlighting in an upcoming ABC sitcom, according to Deadline.com:
Dennis Miller has joined the cast of the ABC comedy pilot “Awesometown” (formerly untitled Adam Sztykiel). The comedy pilot, from writer/executive producer Sztykiel and 20th Century Fox TV, is described as a raw, hilarious peek behind the curtain of modern twentysomething relationships … Miller will play Nelson Burke, the genius boss of Burke Architecture, “who has never smiled and is surgical with his cut downs.”
