The world is still reeling from the news that Kim Kardashian has decided to end her 72-day-long marriage to Kris Humphries.
The entertainment media got taken in a big way with this marriage and I salute Kim Kardashian for taking them. She leveraged the celebrity she gained for, uhm, being a celebrity brilliantly:

No, MTV, the world isn’t reeling, just your shallow, empty world. The rest of us are simply passing by for a quick chuckle.

Just ordered this from Amazon. Garner is one of my all-time favorite actors (wallpaper proof), is far and away my favorite television actor, and you don’t ever want to get me started about my undying love for “The Rockford Files,” the best hour-long television series ever produced.
Garner also epitomizes the word class. He’s an advocate for his political beliefs but has never taken a cheap swipe at mine. Stupid Hollywood thinks we hate them because they’re leftists. No, Hollywood, we’re just hating you back. Politics has nothing to do with it.
Anyway, I can’t wait to dig into this one. And I’m pretty primed for another screening of “The Streets of Laredo,” another epic Garner performance in one of television’s finest miniseries.

Caught a “Frontline” special on Bernie Madoff on Netflix Streaming. What an evil man, but what a fascinating story that could be an equally fascinating film. Television is definitely the best outlet for this story. You don’t want to see “Wall Street 3;” you want to dig into the details of how the fraud was pulled off.
