The Fox News Channel offers a brisk alternative to mainstream news reportage, allowing conservatives the kind of voice they don’t get on CNN, MSNBC or the Big Three Networks.

Some would call that a measure of balance. Adam Levine, the lead singer of Maroon 5, thinks it’s letting evil infiltrate the airwaves.

The rocker wasn’t too pleased, apparently, to hear his band’s music recently on the cable news outlet, and he shared his outrage with his Twitter followers.

Via Adam Levine’s authorized Twitter account:

You’d think a modern music act would be delighted to hear its songs on a popular media outlet. It’s a shrewd way for a new demographic to sample a band’s wares. But famous liberals often act against their best interest when their ideology is threatened.

Now, potential Maroon 5 fans will know what the group’s lead singer think of them, and that can’t be good for record sales.

No, Adam, thank YOU.
