Mediaite finds Michael Moore whining about half-decade old jokes told by Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly at his expense worthy of a write up and so we thought we’d counter by giving you a couple opportunities:

1. Please do watch the video and mock the outrageous phoniness of the oh-so-precious tone and staged professorial sobriety during this exchange between Moore and the just as insufferably sanctimonious Rachel Maddow –two people who couldn’t summon a hi-ho-hearty damn about the racist beating of Kenneth Gladney at the hands of pro-Obama SEIU thugs.

2. Since quotes old enough to be in the first grade are suddenly up for grabs and obvious jokes can be interpreted as some sort of scary call to violence, we present you with Michael Moore’s greatest “violent” hits:

First up, from 2003, Mr. Moore calls for the arming of the Palestinians so they can kill them some Joooooooooos:

Hey, here’s a way to stop suicide bombings — give the Palestinians a bunch of missile-firing Apache helicopters and let them and the Israelis go at each other head to head. Four billion dollars a year to Israel — four billion dollars a year to the Palestinians — they can just blow each other up and leave the rest of us the hell alone.

And here’s a hot one from 2004 — which I believe was an election year — with Moore cheering on and encouraging those awesome Iraqi “minutemen” to kill more American soldiers and Marines:

The Iraqis who have risen up against the occupation are not “insurgents” or “terrorists” or “The Enemy.” They are the REVOLUTION, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow — and they will win. Get it, Mr. Bush?

Mediaite leaves us with this hushed and thoughtful warning::

One could easily argue that these are examples of over-the-top hyperbole, but as Michael Moore states quite clearly, now is a time to be very careful, if not responsible, with one’s political rhetoric.

Man, that sounds familiar. *taps chin* Where, where, where have I heard that before? *scratches beard*

Oh, yes!

ARI FLEISCHER: There are reminders to all Americans that they need to watch what they say, watch what they do. This is not a time for remarks like that. There never is.

We will now all hold our breaths and wait for the Left to collectively (pun intended) attack Michael Moore’s and Rachel Maddow’s chillingly fascist “reign of terror.”
