While it’s great that an anti-war documentary didn’t win this year (unlike in year’s past) and while I thought “Man on Wire” was a great, fascinating, suspenseful documentary, it was missing one detail that I thought was jawdropping. It’s about a man who walks a tightrope between the World Trade Center towers. But it doesn’t mention, even for a second, that the towers aren’t here anymore or why. The absence of any mention of this, I felt, was glaring.
