A violent fight broke out between multiple teenagers on Saturday afternoon at a zoo in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
It was free admission day when a group of teens began pushing and shoving each other inside the main entrance of the Milwaukee County Zoo, according to Fox 6.
Video footage showed one teenager wearing a white long-sleeved shirt hitting another person as the two appeared to hold onto each other’s hair.
“It just happened out of nowhere,” a witness said of the incident that occurred around 4 p.m. that day.
Bystanders said they also heard someone say another woman was about to start fighting someone else just moments before it all began.
“She was screaming ‘where’s this b at, where’s this b at,'” one young man said.
The video showed more people get involved as the fight began to escalate. At one point, someone tried to pull the girl wearing the white shirt off of another teenager lying on the ground.
“People started to jump in, one by one,” he recalled, adding, “It was a lot of chaotic going on, people looking for their friends and family after the fight, making sure everyone was safe.”
“It was just kind of scary,” the other witness stated.
Thankfully, security guards stepped in to break up the altercation and deputies with the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office arrived a few moments later.
However, authorities said no arrests were made because some of the teenagers involved in the fight left the scene before they arrived.
The incident began following a verbal dispute that lead to “minor shoving” between those in the group of teenagers, according to officials.
The young man who witnessed the incident said he came to the zoo to have fun and see the animals, not to watch people fight each other.
“To be honest, I don’t like it, because it’s happening a lot these days,” he concluded.
