A high school nurse in Maryland has been arrested and charged with engaging in sexual relationships with three teenage students, police say.

Crisfield High School and Academy school nurse, Samantha Marsh, was charged with ten counts of sexual offenses against the teen boys, according to the Maryland State Police, the Baltimore Sun reported.

One of the students reportedly told police that he had sexual relations with the nurse in her van in the driveway of her home. All three said that the 33-year-old school employee performed oral sex on them. None of the alleged encounters took place on school grounds, police said.

Police added that the relationships occurred between March 2018 and January of this year and that the nurse communicated with the teens via social media, especially Snapchat.

The school had already placed Marsh on administrative leave before she was arrested on February 12.

According to WJZ-TV, the students were reluctant to speak about the alleged encounters until one student’s parents convinced him to come forward.

The suspect’s husband spoke up for his wife.

“I know she did wrong. I know that. But she’s not a bad person,” Marsh’s husband said, according to WJZ.

Maryland State Police arrested Marsh at the Princess Anne Barrack and is holding her without bail at the Somerset County Detention Center.
