On Wednesday’s broadcast of Fox News Radio’s “Brian Kilmeade Show,” Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) stated that his state needs protective equipment, ICU nurses, and ventilators, and the situation is “a lot like Katrina in the sense that you don’t have enough of what you need, and there is, of course, a sense of urgency.”
While discussing the conditions in his state, Kennedy stated, “Everybody’s having trouble finding protective equipment, though we’re doing a little bit better there. Testing is still an issue, though it’s getting better. … Our biggest need, frankly, is ICU nurses and ventilators.”
He added, “It is a lot like Katrina in the sense that you don’t have enough of what you need, and there is, of course, a sense of urgency.”
