FNC’s Carlson: W.H.O’s ‘Real Job Is Sucking up to the Chinese Government’

On Tuesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” host Tucker Carlson sharply criticized the World Health Organization’s handling of the coronavirus outbreak.

Carlson began by characterizing W.H.O. Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus as someone who has “set the standard for corruption there.”

He added, “The World Health Organization’s leadership tells you that China set the standard for the [response to the outbreak]. Apparently, that standard includes disappearing doctors who tell the truth about it.”

Carlson further criticized W.H.O. for “lecturing the public” for using terms like “Wuhan virus” instead of worrying about combatting the disease.

He concluded, “You might think that a World Health Organization, a group that got 58 million of your tax dollars last year might care that a government arrests doctors and lies about deadly new diseases. But no, like so many other organizations, they are lapdogs for the powerful. And that means their real job is sucking up to the Chinese government.”
