Tim Ryan: ‘Funny’ That Trump Calls People Socialist, But ‘Wants to Tell Companies What to Do’

On Saturday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Cavuto Live,” 2020 presidential candidate Representative Tim Ryan (D-OH) stated that it’s “funny” that President Trump calls other people socialists, yet he’s the one telling businesses what to do by ordering them not to do business with China.

Ryan said, “Well, it’s funny how he runs around calling everybody a socialist, and he’s the one who actually wants to tell companies what to do. Isn’t that ironic? So, I think you outcompete them. You’ve got to balance the trade, and you’ve got to talk about them cheating on intellectual property, and you’ve got to be firm on them.”
