Tuesday, Sen. Martha McSally (R-AZ) supported Israel’s decision to ban Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) because of their anti-Israel remarks.
McSally told “Fox & Friends” that Israel should be able to decide who enters their country just like the United States does, saying she wishes the two Democratic congresswomen “would stop playing theater” in regards to Israel.
“Israel gets to decide who can come into their country just like we do,” McSally advised. “I will just tell you, these two members of Congress — their views on Israel are very clear. Their support for the BDS movement, their refusal to condemn antisemitism, you see it in their rhetoric, in their social media posts, in their votes and I wish that they would have maybe joined the bipartisan group that goes over every two years to inform freshmen about Israel.”
She went on to add, “I really wish that they would stop playing theater with this and actually be thoughtful and meaningful about the threats that Israel faces every single day.”
