Conway: ‘Nice’ to Have Media Finally Covering the Economy, Even Though It’s Only Over Recession Rumors

In a Monday interview with reporters, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway responded to a question about the possibility of a recession by saying it is nice to have the mainstream media finally covering the economy under President Donald Trump, even though it is amid rumblings of a potential recession.

“I’d like to know where you’re getting your information from because it’s nice to have the mainstream media finally covering the Trump economy. You seem to only cover it when you can use Sesame’s Grover word of the day: recession,” Conway stated.

She then went on to defend the economy, dissing what the economy would look like under the socialist Democrats’ proposed economic changes.

“The fact is, the fundamentals of our economy are very strong, and you know it,” Conway declared. “We have more people working in this country right now than ever before in the nation’s history.”

“I contrast that to Medicare for All and Green New Deals and taxes for everyone else and free healthcare for illegal immigrants. That would tank our economy, and everybody knows that,” she added.
