Gillibrand: ‘Imagine What It Would Be Like to Have a Working Mom in the White House’

In a Friday appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” 2020 Democrat presidential hopeful Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) touted her performance the night before at the second Democrat debate.

Gillibrand said she showed she can stand up to President Donald Trump on the debate stage, wondering aloud how nice it would be to “a working mom in the White House” as opposed to a “misogynist” like Trump.

“Well, I think I showed that I can stand up to Trump and be able to be on a debate stage with him and not be bullied or overshadowed,” Gillibrand advised. “Just imagine what it would be like to have a working mom in the White House and all that she could do as opposed to a misogynist.”

“That would be a nice difference,” co-host Mika Brzezinski replied.
