“Fox & Friends” aired an interview Friday with Vice President Mike Pence in St. Paul, MN, where Pence commented on FBI special counsel Mueller investigation’s investigation and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi saying the United States is in a “constitutional crisis.”
Pence told Fox News’ Pete Hegseth that the country is not in a “constitutional crisis.”
“The president and I fully support Attorney General Barr’s decision to refuse to testify under the conditions that the Judiciary Committee put forward,” Pence stated.
“This is not a constitutional crisis,” he continued. “This can be resolved. We’ll leave it to the attorney general to work out arrangements, but it’s time to dial down the rhetoric on Capitol Hill.”
After the interview aired, Hegseth said he felt like the vice president is treating the Barr situation as a “thing of the past.”
