On Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Situation Room,” Senate Intelligence Committee Vice Chairman Mark Warner (D-VA) said that Attorney General William Barr views himself as a “personal lawyer” for the president, and “it would be in the best interests of our country if he resigned.”
Warner said, “I believe he’s — instead, views himself as the president’s personal lawyer. Maybe he can join up with Rudy Giuliani. But he should do that and not try to continue to act as the attorney general. Yes, I believe it would be in the best interests of our country if he resigned.”
