Sunday during special programming on MSNBC further dissecting the Mueller Report, the Daily Beast’s Eleanor Clift commented on the Democrats potentially trying to impeach President Donald Trump over the Mueller report’s findings.

Clift cautioned against a “rush” to impeach Trump, instead saying she wants to hear from FBI special counsel Robert Mueller and Don McGahn.

“I don’t think it will be oversight hearing after hearing. At some point they will have to decide if they are going to open an impeachment inquiry,” Clift told MSNBC’s Ari Melber. “There is no reason to rush.

She added, “I can’t wait to hear from the Sphinx, from Robert Mueller, nobody has even heard his voice. Don McGahn is a witness who can testify to this president’s behavior up close and personal. This is what the Democrats need to do. And they shouldn’t be rushing into a trial in the Senate with Chief Justice John Roberts presiding over a Republican Senate that has shown no cracks unless you count Mitt Romney’s calling this appalling. We may get there. I hope we do get there. But I don’t think there is a rush.”
