Schumer on Biden: ‘I Salute the Women’ – I’ve Said Candidates ‘Should Run if They Want’ and Voters Will Decide

During a press conference on Tuesday, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) reacted to the accusations against former Vice President Joe Biden by saying he salutes those who have come forward and “everyone deserves to be heard.” He further stated that he’s always said candidates “should run if they want to,” and the voters will decide.

Schumer said, “Well, let me say this, first, everyone deserves to be heard. So I salute the women who have come forward to tell their stories. When asked about candidates running, I’ve always said they should run if they want to, and then the voters will weigh the pros and cons and decide for themselves.”
