On Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” Senator Doug Jones (D-AL) stated that he has “concern about a Medicare for all plan.”
Jones began by saying that he thinks all of the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates can appeal to the “radical middle.”
Jones further stated, “I’ve got a concern about a Medicare for all plan. I think…health care is such a concern, and it should be a right for all folks. We’ve got to do what we can for affordable health care. I think what that debate is doing though is fostering other debates and other options, other possibilities that will come from that.”
Jones also praised former Vice President Joe Biden as someone who would be a “very effective” messenger for Democrats.
