Friday, Watergate throwback and CNN contributor John Dean discussed the ongoing Russia probe, which many believe will come to an end soon, saying President Donald Trump’s administration is “in bunker mode” as it awaits the findings.
“I think they are in bunker mode, by the way, watching the incoming,” Dean said on “New Day.”
Dean added that Trump is about to have to deal with “oversight,” which he said the president will not like “at all.”
“I think slowly but surely some Republicans in the Senate are starting to have second thoughts,” he outlined. “The House really believes it was put into office because they wanted oversight, they wanted investigations. So, Mr. Trump is about to have a whole different experience which is called oversight. I don’t think he’s going to like it at all. Politically, I think it is very important that we get an understanding of what’s happening with this presidency.
