Tuesday at a press conference, House Democratic Caucus chair Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) refused to condemn Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) in light of accusations of anti-Semitism.
Jeffries said, “I found those two new freshman members to be thoughtful colleagues on a wide variety of issues. We can have a robust debate on domestic policy and on foreign policy. I can say the overwhelming majority of the House Democratic caucus is strongly pro Israel.”
