Tuesday, former New Jersey governor Chris Christie appeared on “Fox & Friends” as part of his media tour for his book, “Let Me Finish.”
In the interview, Christie discussed how media have treated President Donald Trump, saying it is like the president is “a cartoon character.”
“They’re always going to move the goal post on him. But the important thing is the mainstream media treats him like a cartoon character. They really do,” Christie argued. “And part of what people need to understand when they look at all those examples is this is a guy who listens. He does listen. He is strong and he is, tough but he listens.”
Christie cautioned Democrats against trying to “exclude” Trump from border security funding negotiations.
“Now, I think this three weeks is going to be very interesting because if they try to exclude him they are setting everybody up for failure and leaving him with no alternative but to take executive action himself,” he said.
