Lanny Davis: Cohen ‘Had Nothing to Do With’ Writing of BuzzFeed Story – Can’t Confirm or Deny Story

On Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “MTP Daily,” Michael Cohen legal adviser Lanny Davis didn’t confirm or deny BuzzFeed’s reporting that President Trump ordered Cohen to lie to Congress and stated that Cohen “had nothing to do with the writing of the story.”

Davis said, “Mr. Cohen and myself neither deny nor confirm. We’re just not commenting on the story, and I’m adding today, another comment. He had nothing to do with the writing of the story. He didn’t initiate the story. It was done by independent reporting. So, the story stands on its own.”
