On Monday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Hardball,” incoming House Democratic Caucus Chair Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) stated that President Trump “has conducted himself like an organized crime boss, woefully inappropriate.”
Jeffries said, “We do know that the president has conducted himself like an organized crime boss, woefully inappropriate. There were electoral consequences, I believe, for some of his inappropriate behavior, as a result of the blue wave that took place on November 6th. … And we’ll see what happens over the next two years. But the right thing to do is to let Bob Mueller be Bob Mueller. Let the Southern District of New York, professional prosecutors, led by Republican appointees, complete their work before we as Democrats in the House decide how best to proceed.”
