During Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) argued that if Republicans want progress on both economic and national security, the party will need to take back the majority in the House of Representatives.

“There’s no question that continued progress, both on economic security as well as national security, requires that the Republicans take back the House,” Cheney told host Maria Bartiromo.

Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, criticized the Democrats in the House, especially the freshmen, for their “Soviet-style economic policy” with the government providing jobs and housing for the people.

She later added that the nation’s security “depends” on making investments in our military.
