During an interview broadcast on Monday’s edition of the Fox News Channel’s “Ingraham Angle,” President Trump stated the Pittsburgh synagogue shooter is a “horrible human being,” and “was not a Donald Trump fan. Because he said I was too close to Israel.”
Host Laura Ingraham asked the president about accusations of anti-Semitism against him.
Trump began his response by touting moving the US embassy to Jerusalem. He added, “And in fact, this horrible human being, this terrible person that did the shooting, he was not a Donald Trump fan. Because he said I was too close to Israel. So, that seemed to be his reasoning.”
