During a portion of an interview with ABC set to air on Saturday’s “Good Morning America,” Vice President Mike Pence stated President Trump doesn’t bear responsibility for the mail bombs and Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) didn’t bear responsibility for the Congressional baseball shooting.
ABC White House Correspondent Tara Palmeri asked, “Does the president bear some responsibility for this?”
Pence answered, “No, not all. And neither did Bernie Sanders bear any responsibility when the Illinois man opened fire at a Republican baseball practice.”
He continued that “threats or acts of political violence, from anyone, anywhere, for any reason, will not be allowed.”
