CNN’s Tapper Slams Trump Op-Ed: ‘It’s Only an Hour-Long Show — We Can’t Get Into Every Lie’

Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” host Jake Tapper declared President Donald Trump‘s USA Today op-ed criticizing “Medicare for all” proposals was “suffused with lies and factual errors.”

He explained what he saw as the difficulties of offering his analysis of the piece given the time constraints of his program.

Tapper said, “It’s only an hour-long show, We can’t get into every lie that President Trump told in that op-ed.”
