On Saturday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) said Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein will be subpoenaed if he doesn’t agree to appear for a transcribed interview on the record.
Goodlatte said it’s important that they talk to Rosenstein about reports that he suggested wearing a wire to record the president and invoking the 25th Amendment, as well as the FBI’s conduct.
He further stated, “It’s essential that we talk to him. He knows that. He has not agreed to come for a transcribed interview on the record. He needs to agree to do that. If he does not agree to do that very soon, I will issue a subpoena for him to appear.”
