Friday, MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough reacted to the jobless rate falling to 3.7 percent, a number the country has not seen since 1969.
CNBC’s Dominic Chu explained to Scarborough how the number fell despite coming in “below expectations.”
Chu noted how over the last 12 months there have been 201,000 jobs created on average.
“3.7 percent,” an astonished Scarborough stated. “Man, that is a low unemployment rate.”
