Sunday on “The Next Revolution,” Fox News Channel legal and political analyst Gregg Jarrett called for Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein “to be forced to step aside” while being investigated for considering secretly recording the president as part of an effort to recruit cabinet members to invoke the 25th Amendment.
Rosenstein reportedly wanted to wear a “wire” in an effort “to expose the chaos consuming the administration,” which is enough for Jarrett to say Rosenstein should have to step aside for the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.
“Rosenstein needs to go,” Jarrett said. “He should be forced to step aside while there is an investigation into whether he was trying to solicit people to undertake the 25th Amendment and wiretap the president.”
He continued, “That needs to be investigated. He should not be at the helm of the special counsel investigation.”
