MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” reacted Thursday to a new CNN poll that shows FBI special counsel Robert Mueller holds a 50 percent approval rating for the handling of the Russia investigation, while only 30 percent back President Donald Trump.
Co-host Joe Scarborough praised Mueller’s “impeccable credentials” and accused the GOP members of the House of Representatives of being “dupes for Donald Trump” and “dupes for Vladimir Putin” for “trying to obstruct the Russian investigation.”
“You have these dupes in the House of Representatives who — they’re not just being dupes for Donald Trump, but now since they’re trying to obstruct the Russian investigation and interfering with democracy, they’re now being dupes for Vladimir Putin,” said Scarborough.
