Conway on DeSantis: ‘He Took That Endorsement From the President and He Wore It Proudly’

White House aide Kellyanne Conway lauded Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) Wednesday for winning Florida’s Republican gubernatorial primary election, saying he wore President Trump’s endorsement “proudly.”

“I can’t think of a candidate in this country who’s leaned in more to the presidential endorsement than Ron DeSantis,” Conway said on “Fox & Friends.”

She continued, “He took that endorsement from the president and he wore it very proudly. He incorporated it in his paid media campaign, he talked about it and he’s indicating to the people of Florida he will be a reliable supporter of the Trump agenda of lower taxes and fewer regulations, all the while respecting the states and local communities in the way that they are administering to the needs of their citizenry.”
