Tuesday, the U.S. ambassador to Germany, Richard Grenell, credited President Donald Trump for the deportation of Jakiw Palij, the last known Nazi collaborator living in the United States.
Grenell said on “Fox & Friends” that Trump made it a priority to get Palij deported.
“It’s really a credit to President Trump, who was very clear about this case. I had not heard about it when the president brought it up and made clear he wanted this individual out of the United States,” Grenell said.
He later stated, “It’s a great day for the United States to have this man out of our country.”
